I regret that I didn’t try the Tantus Goddess sooner. Earlier on, I think I would have unabashedly loved the Goddess. It’s glossy and the texture is easy. It comes in gentle waves down the shaft and I am pretty positive that the Goddess is, actually, a great beginner toy. But trying it now that I already know I want texture and lots of it, the Goddess is hit or miss. Sometimes it’s exactly perfect, the texture is pronounced but not overwhelming and my G-Spot rejoices. Other times, I try and try to feel it but cannot.Part of this is the Goddess’ slender girth of 1.5.” It makes the toy easy to use, but often leaves many wanting more. While it is firm and not squishy, it is flexible and pliable. Once the Goddess is lubed up, it’s good to go. I’m convinced I could insert this dildo anytime anywhere.
The Goddess does have an ever-so- slightly pronounced head and the body is slanted. This makes the Goddess deliver some mild but usually palpable G-Spot stimulation. The texture is subtle and non-threatening to G-Spot play newbies. I think the Goddess is a great toy, even if it doesn’t always get it exactly right for me. The glossy silicone is easy to insert and I can use it without any warm up, which makes it ironically great for just that: warming up. When I’m prepping for a larger toy, I can just use the Goddess from the get go. It’s nice to warm up with something that has a wee bit of texture so that it allows my vagina to adjust to the larger, more textured toy I’m about to use. Sometimes warming up feels boring and I just want it to be over with so I can move onto the toy I want to use, but warming up with the Goddess is nice because the slight texture feels good and it gently nudges my G-Spot awake.
The Goddess is my first dildo with optional vibration. The base of the toy is hollow, so that the user can slap a vibrating bullet in it. The Goddess comes with a little watch battery bullet, which cannot do anything for me so I put the Point in it. The Point is fatter than the We-Vibe Tango but it fits in there alright. The vibrations trasmit through the whole toy though they are more concentrated in the base. Honestly, I don’t particularly care for internal vibrations. It feels as if there is to much going on and I can’t concentrate properly. From an objective standpoint, the Goddess is a good internal vibrator, but I think it excels as a plain ‘ole dildo. The Goddess also comes as non-vibrating dildo with a handle. So if you’re not looking for a vibrating option, I’d say the Goddess handle is probably a better choice.
I’d call the Goddess a starter dildo. I also think it’s great for folks who need toys on the smaller side of things.
