What is it and what is it supposed to do?
Sliquid Stimulating O Gel is what I would call a sex condiment—it’s a gel, though I found it to be a bit more on the liquid-y side. You put the gel on your clit or peep and it causes a lingering, tingly sensation that increases my blood flow to the clitoris. In short, it adds a little something to sex: a sex condiment.
Does it do this?
I had never given much thought to using any of the many (and boy are there MANY) clit stimulating gels.
But, then I snagged a sample of Sliquid Organics Stimulating O Gel, which I later stumbled upon amongst my other travel finds. Hmmmm, I thought to myself, I wonder….
Then, I used it and it was AWESOME.
While I guess this review could end there, allow me to expand.
One of the reasons I did not want to try these stimulating creams and gels was because, well, science. For those who don’t know, sex toy reviewing is the closest thing I’ve ever done toward the sciences and empirical study. I’m still learning about ingredients, and I get confused easily. I never really trusted any of the ones that I saw because they came from companies that, while I could really identify weird/gross ingredients other than glycerin and parabens, I still didn’t trust them to not put crap in them and/or use production practices that are objectionable.
When I found one from Sliquid, whose products are all glycerin and paraben free, vegan friendly, and even has an organic line, (not to mention Sliquid is a company trusted by folks I admire), I thought “Oh, ok, let’s do this then!” And that is precisely what I did and I repeat: it was awesome.
I didn’t really know what I was doing, so I just slathered some on my clit, as that’s where its supposed to go. Immediately, I felt a cool rush, and the blood started rushing in.The sensation is pretty intense, it’s hard to describe what it quite does to me. I could be lying there indifferently, wanting to use a toy, or have an orgasm, but feeling a little…well..uninspired. I put some on, and the immediacy of the sensation changes things up. I’m a big fan.
Who would you not recommend Sliquid Stimulating O Gel to?
Sliquid Stimulating O Gel does not, however, last very long. I’m not terribly bothered by this. It last for me as long as I’d like it to, and then just fades out. I imagine that I might feel overstimulated or irritated by something that lasts for more than 10 or so minutes. But, I understand that for some folks this would be a deal breaker. If you’re looking for something long lasting, this probably isn’t the product for you.
Who would you recommend it to?
If you’re looking for something short, intense to ignite some sensation and arousal during foreplay or solo play, I’d say get some. I’m glad I’ve got this sex condiment in my tool box of peep treats.
I’d rate this a 4/5, simply because I know that the short length of time the sensation last is a deal breaker for some folks.
